Officially launched in 2023, the Hoya Social Impact Alliance is the first-ever networking community for Georgetown alumni engaged in the social impact sphere.

By joining, you will become part of a growing group of 700+ alumni from all GU schools who work at nonprofit/NGOs, faith institutions, schools and universities, government agencies, corporations, foundations, and entrepreneurial ventures dedicated to the public good. To support these alumni, interested students, and the University, the alumni volunteer-run Alliance offers regular programming and communications for professional development, network building, and other social impact career opportunities. FYI, there are no costs associated with joining.

Your responses will guide us in creating tailored programming, offering relevant opportunities, and fostering connections with other like-minded Hoyas. Alumni Alliance/Affinity groups provide a way for Georgetown University alumni to organize around an industry, shared interest, identity or community. Groups seeking to create a new alliance/affinity group will follow a phased multi-year approach to demonstrate interest and sustainability for the group. The first phase is an incubation phase where groups begin to recruit volunteers, engage alumni and begin developing an engagement plan to be an active recognized group.
